Gurgaon, September 28, 2018: As MattsenKumar LLC (MK) approached the closing of its Month of Awesomeness (MOA) celebrations, the team planned an intellectual seminar with the prestigious “Days for Girls” (DfG), an International award-winning non-profit organization, on September 28th’2018 at its Gurugram, Haryana premises.

The seminar was organized to talk about the need of maintaining menstrual hygiene. MattsenKumar LLC is its socially responsible partner of Indian origin that is contributing a tad to spread awareness about sustainable menstrual care and health education.

The MOA marks the celebration of the efforts put in by the company’s employees to bring success to the company. Mike Mattsen and Aarati Kumar, the company’s CEO, COO, and co-founders, believe that it is the hard work and dedication of their diverse teams that help them exceed their clients’ expectations.

The three-hour long seminar had Celeste Mergens, Founder & CEO of DfG as its chief guest who was accompanied by her team members Laurie A. Baum, Stephanie Schmid, Morgan Sessions, and Sondra Hudgens. A few other guest representatives from various other NGOs also joined the seminar.

Appreciating the commendable efforts put-in by the Team MK towards this global cause, Celeste Mergens said, “We want people to come together and create a world where girls and women can live with full dignity, health, and happiness. By developing global partnerships with socially responsible enterprises like MK we mobilize volunteers and devise sustainable solutions that can increase the access to menstrual care and education to every girl worldwide.”

Featuring an exchange of some meaningful information like Celeste’s inspiration to start DfG and the need to educate and empower females with sustainable menstrual care, the seminar also revealed the details about the MK’s contribution towards the social cause. While the MK’s ‘Sparsh committee’ that was formed to volunteer in various social welfare causes is already an active contributor towards promoting the good menstrual hygienic practices among women, the seminar aimed at motivating more MK employees to come forward and work as health educators and volunteers of the DfG menstrual care and feminine hygiene drive in India.

Mike Mattsen while commenting on the success of DfG menstruation and feminine hygiene drives, said, “We have joined hands with DfG to make a difference to girls throughout India, not going far wide all at once but starting from educating the ignorant females near us who aren’t even aware of the various complications arising out of lack of menstrual hygiene. Till now we have distributed several hundred reusable DfG kits through our voluntary employee committee in the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh, Delhi NCR, and Rajasthan.”
