Earlier 7% of the US workforce used to work from remote locations, ever since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic over 20% of people are working from home. In India, 140 million people are working from home while another 150 million are at risk of losing their jobs.
Coronavirus pandemic has coaxed institutions like colleges and corporates in adopting e-learning tools to impart knowledge and training. Ever since a Stanford study revealed “employees who work from home are 13% more productive than their counterparts working from traditional locations”, organizations were trying to increase their pool of remote working employees. With COVID-19, enterprises had no option other than to let their employees function remotely.
At MattsenKumar we were quick in identifying the growing impact of COVID infections. The Human Resource team in collaboration with the InfoSec team devised a plan that facilitated work from home for everyone quite easily. Taking the initiative forward, the HR & Training team introduced e-learning to keep the learning curve growing.
